Data Scientist (multiple openings)

JOB DUTIES:

• Design, develop, train, validate, and optimize machine learning and statistical models to support forecasting, classification, natural language processing, and recommendation systems.

• Build and maintain scalable pipelines for data ingestion, preprocessing, feature engineering, and model deployment.

• Develop ETL/ELT processes and implement automated workflows for model training, testing, monitoring, and retraining.

• Work with large structured and unstructured datasets from cloud databases, APIs, and on-premise systems.

• Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions and prepare documentation.

• Deploy models into production and set up alerting, logging, and performance tracking mechanisms.

 

JOB REQUIREMENT:  

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of experience. Foreign degree equivalent based on education, training, and/or experience is acceptable.

 

Experience to include two years with the following tools/technologies: Python, SQL, scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, Pandas, Apache Spark, BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML, Airflow, MLflow, Data ETL, ELT, Docker, Git, Power BI, and Tableau.

 

HOURS: 40 hours per week, M-F, 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

 

JOB LOCATION: TechField LLC d/b/a Tech Consulting, 1785 The Exchange SE, Suite 200, Atlanta, GA 30339. Travel is not required but must be willing to relocate to unanticipated locations across the country per contract demand.
